Workshop for Men Pretoria May 2018

This workshop for lay men was hosted by Antipas Reformed Baptist Church and held in Pretoria
in May 2018. The Letter of Paul to Titus was used as the basis for this workshop.

David Short is Rector of St. John’s Vancouver Anglican Church. He is also the Executive Director of the Artizo Training Institute whose mandate is to prepare people for full-time ministry. Dave was born in Tanzania but studied at Moore Theological College in Sydney and earned a Th.M at Regent College. He was ordained in Sydney, Australia but has been ministering in Vancouver for the past 15 years. David is married to Bron and is the father of Ben and Josh. He enjoys reading Augustine and Scandinavian crime fiction and being in sheds with power tools.

Jean Nortier is one of the elders at Antipas Baptist Church. He was born in Bloemfontein, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Stellenbosch University. After initially working at an accounting firm, he started his own business and in 2008 became CEO of Uranium One. This necessitated a move to Vancouver. During this period Jean and his family attended St John's Vancouver. On returning to South Africa in 2011, Jean started his own property business in Pretoria. Through Antipas, he is involved in marriages, Bible study and the youth. In his spare time, he plays golf, does Enduro motorcycle races and spends time with his wife and 4 kids.
