INFORMATION

Paul encourages Timothy in 2 Tim 2:15:  "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed,

rightly handling the word of truth." (ESV)

Purpose of the workshop

This workshop offers a precious opportunity for all women to learn how to study the Bible better, come to a deeper understanding of it, and "handle the word of truth rightly." This workshop will stimulate and challenge you to more rigorous study but promises fruit that will be sweet and nourishing!

This event focuses on guiding women in the thorough observation, faithful interpretation, and practical application of Bible passages. Whether you work with children, youth, young adults, women, or co-ed study groups,

the training has broad applicability. Teaching will comprise upfront lectures and practical work in small groups through a passage from Ephesians.

Whether you are part of a Bible study group or simply want to study the Bible on your own, this is an opportunity to learn and practice valuable Bible study skills.

How will it work?

The workshop will be presented in English. It will run on Thursday evening, Friday evening and Saturday.

Besides the formal instructional lectures, women who attend can practice their newly acquired skills in smaller groups over three sessions. To see the exact program and dates, click here.

Small groups will be no bigger than eight women, and extended time working on the passage individually and in a group will allow ample opportunity for participants to practice the skills taught under the guidance of a competent group leader.

The ESV translation will be used for all practical work. All study materials will be supplied.
