Doreen Nortier heads up the Women's Ministry at Antipas Baptist Church. She was born and raised in Pretoria and qualified at Tukkies as Occupational Therapist.
She is married to the love of her life and is a full-time mom to four wonderful kids. In 2008 she moved with her family to Vancouver. During the three years they stayed there, she was involved with the Women's Bible study at St John's Vancouver. Here she was mentored and helped to study the Bible in a deeper way.
Upon their return to Pretoria, she started a Bible study for women at Antipas Reformed Baptist Church in Pretoria. She is excited to see women grow spiritually as they read and study the Bible. She loves books and enjoys Pilates classes, while sewing and knitting sometimes take up her spare time.
Saartjie Anderson grew up in Pietersburg and studied medicine at the University of Pretoria. In 2002, she left her medical practice to focus on her role as a wife and mother. Shortly thereafter, she began homeschooling her two children and cherished this opportunity for 10 years.​
She is part of the leadership of the Women's Ministry at Antipas Baptist Church and Antipas Women's Bible Study. Her desire is for more women to know and serve the Lord through the study of His Word, which is why she considers being part of Walking in the Word Workshops a great privilege.
She loves nature and enjoys hiking and camping with her best friend and husband, Human.


Phumzile Mahlaba was born and raised in Swaziland and moved to South Africa to pursue her university career. She is currently the Branch Manager at one of South Africa’s leading colleges.
She became a widow in January 2021 when the Lord called her beloved husband home. She is a mother of two. In addition to her professional career, she enjoys cooking and baking. Beyond her professional and personal endeavours, she is actively involved in the Ladies Ministry at Heritage Baptist Church, Johannesburg. Those who know her call her Mam Phumi.
