Workshop for Women Knysna April 2019

This workshop for women was held at Knysna Hope in Knysna in April 2019. The letter of fist Peter was used as basis for this workshop. Unfortunately no audio recordings are available for this workshop.

Doreen Nortier heads up the Women's Ministry at Antipas Baptist Church. She was born and bred in Pretoria, and qualified at Tukkies as Occupational Therapist.
She is married to the love of her life, and is a full time mom to four wonderful kids. During 2008 she moved with her family to Vancouver. During the three years they stayed there, she was involved with the Women's Bible study at St John's Vancouver.
Upon their return to Pretoria, she started a Bible study for women at Antipas. She is excited to see women grow spiritually as they read and study the Bible. She loves books and enjoys Pilates classes, while sewing and knitting takes up her spare time.

Saartjie Anderson grew up in Pietersburg, after which she studied medicine at the University of Pretoria. In 2002 she left her medical practice to be at home for her husband and kids. Shortly thereafter she took up the task of homeschooling her children and enjoyed this privilege for 10 years. During this time, she could live out her passion for teaching through her involvement at the Tshwane Home Educators Academy's Life Orientation program. Here she led discussion groups for teenagers.
Saartjie has been one of the leaders at the Antipas Women's Bible study since 2014 and for the last 5 years she has been a Sunday School teacher at Antipas.
She loves nature and enjoys hiking and camping with her best friend and husband, Human.

Amanda Combrinck was born and raised in Krugersdorp, and studied Occupational Therapy at the University of Pretoria. She closed her practice at the end of 2006 to have more time available for her husband and three children. She started homeschooling her children during the course of 2007 and did so until the end of 2014. In recent years she has been involved in training Disability Inclusion Facilitators in Churches through RampUp, and is on the Board of Directors of P.L.A.Y (Purpose, Leadership and Adventure for Youth).
She joined the Women’s Bible Study at Antipas Baptist Church in 2014, and has been a small group leader since January 2018.
She and her husband enjoy travelling, hiking and going on safari in nature. She loves music, sings in a choir, and enjoys reading and sewing.
